In the real world, what happens when women speak and act truthfully? And what are the consequences when they don't? What is the price of being perfect?

The Alchemy of Imperfection is a multimedia theater production by New York director Cara Cruickshank. It reveals the psychology of modern women around the world as they navigate expectations, question cultural paradigms, redefine roles in society, and reach for greater autonomy and inner freedom. Starring an international cast, it uses monologues, poetry, dance, live world music, and projected imagery to highlight issues that all women face at points in their lives.

Music composed by Jerome Lifszyc and Groupe Asinora

INTRODUCING THE MUSICIANS

Michael Benhamou

(Oud, percussion)
